Mr. Eugene Patrick Fradella of Slidell, LA, went to his rest in eternal peace on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from Ochsner Northshore Medical Center in Slidell, LA, at the age of 69. Eugene was born on a Friday, November 16, 1951 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Mr. and Mrs. Sam S. Fradella. His greatest accomplishments were being a loving husband of 46 years to his wife Carolyn; a father to his two daughters Dana and Christie; and father in law to Adam Rodi, and Paw paw to his Grandchildren, Adam and Caylee Rodi. He is survived by his sister Lena Neal, brothers Sam and Frank Fradella and brother of the late Joseph Fradella and Son-in-law to the late Iris and Henry Knieper. He was a loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews and Brother in-law to Iris and Ron Andrus, Peggy and Byron Farbe, Henry and Mary Knieper, Charles Knieper , Eric Knieper, and the late Gail Brocato. He was a retiree of Exxon Mobile Refinery in Chalmette Louisiana where he worked for 22 years. Eugene served as a Deacon at Community Christian Church in Slidell and also served with the ushers. He headed up the Food Distribution Ministry and, along with his wife Carolyn, helped feed the community. He will be fondly remembered for his loving and caring spirit, his strong faith, his laughter, his gentle heart, and the love he had for everyone around him and his acts of giving. A visitation and funeral services were held on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Community Christian Church, 1460 Lindberg Dr., Slidell LA. Interment: Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell, LA.
