Don’t miss me when I’m gone. You barely saw me when I was here. When I called. You didn’t answer. So don’t miss me when I’m gone. I tried to reach out, to hang out. You never reached back So don’t miss me when I’m gone. I asked you to dinner. You never responded. So don’t miss me when I’m gone. I called to see if you wanted to watch a movie. You are always too busy. So don’t miss me when I’m gone. I invited you to the party. But you never came. So don’t miss me when I’m gone. When I called to say I was in the neighborhood and I could stop by. You are too tired for company. So don’t miss me when I’m gone. Because I will be gone. And it’ll be too late to call. Too late to hang, No dinners to be had. No party to miss. No company to entertain. So don’t miss me when I’m gone. Miss me when I’m right next to you. Miss me after we hang up the phone. Miss me when the dinner ends. Miss me from across the room during the party. Miss me when I walk out your door. For when I’m gone.... missing me will be all that’s missing.
