Patricia Riley Burtchaell of Slidell, LA, passed away on November 22, 2021 at the age of 89. She was born on March 15, 1932 in New Orleans, LA. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, William and Birdie Riley, Sr.; her brothers, Patrick and William, Jr.; her husband William A. Burtchaell Jr.; and a granddaughter, Angel Jeanne Marie. Patsy is survived by her sister, Iris Canapa; her children, Kathleen Reboult (Nick), Donna Hartmann (Charlie), William Jr. (Lynette), Patricia Burtchaell (Lofton), and Sandra Roussell. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Patsy grew up in New Orleans, raised her family in Arabi, and has presently lived in Slidell, LA, for the past 37 years. She raised five children, was a successful dog breeder, and owned multiple restaurants; Bill’s Pizza in St. Bernard, Fisherman’s Warf in Slidell, and Lunch Man’s in Slidell. She travelled around the world and enjoyed a full life. She was kind to every person and every animal she encountered. In lieu of flowers, donations to Take Paws Rescue is preferred. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation and Memorial Services at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell, LA, on Friday, December 10, 2021; visitation starts at 9 a.m. followed by the services at 11 a.m.
