Judy Dubos Boasso, of Slidell, LA, unexpectedly passed away and returned to her heavenly home on February 6, 2018 at the age of 59. Judy was born to Roland and Joan Dubos in New Orleans, LA, on December 30, 1958. She married her best friend, Elroy Joseph Boasso Jr., on November 25, 1978, in Arabi, LA. Judy was a devout woman of faith who was immensely blessed with a selfless love. Possessing a true servant's heart, Judy helped faithfully raise her two children and four grandchildren with patience, discipline, and humility. From the beginning, she dedicated her family to God and shaped their spirituality through her tireless Christian example. Judy was a consistent and nurturing caretaker for countless families and friends throughout her life, never asking for anything in return. She was gracious, pure, tenderhearted, and the world looked brighter behind her smile. If you were a part of Judy's life, you knew that you were loved. Judy was the heart of her family, who now celebrate the fact that she is at peace with the Lord. Judy is survived by her husband, Elroy Joseph Boasso Jr.; her sons Elroy Joseph Boasso III, Matthew Ross Boasso and his wife Jacqueline Alicia Elizabeth Boasso; her grandchildren Mason Frank Alexander Siener, Hiromasa Eli Minoru Boasso, Carmelo Eoin Eiji Boasso, and Evangeline Chouko Ariel Boasso; her mother Joan Champagne Dubos; her sisters Karen Dubos Bachemin, Laura Ann Dubos and Linda Dubos Pitre; and her mother-in-law Carol Ann Oertel Boasso. She is preceded in death by her father Roland Anthony Dubos; her sister Melanie Ann Dubos; her brother David Anthony Dubos; her grandsons Theodore Eton Xavier Boasso and Alexander Micah Akio Boasso; and her father-in-law Elroy Joseph Boasso. Services for Judy were held on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at D.T. Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Hwy 41, Pearl River, LA. Interment followed at Hickory Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Pearl River, LA.
