Kevin Michael Boudreaux (or “Whameaux” to his friends) lost a long, hard battle against liver and colon cancer on Friday, April 6, 2018, as he peacefully left his earthly body surrounded by family and friends at the age of 62. A native of Arabi and longtime resident of Slidell, he had just celebrated his birthday with a large crawfish boil. He was the beloved husband of 40 years to Deanna M. Boudreaux. Loving father of Kerri L. Harris (Seth), Kaycee B. Richard (Ross), and Cameron M. Boudreaux (Abby). Proud and devoted Poppies to Logan, Rylan, Blake, Emmi, Lyla, Finn, Hudson, and River. Honorary father and Poppies to Christina Rice (Craig) and Cooper. Dear son to the late Earle and Thelma Boudreaux. Cherished brother to the late Earle L. Boudreaux, Jr., and surviving siblings Bonnie B. Kramer (the late Joseph) and Ross S. Boudreaux, Sr., and brother-in-law Roy A. Madere, Jr. (Regina), along with numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Kevin was a beautiful soul and giving friend to all those he met. He loved playing drums, cycling, disc golf, and always making people laugh. Rather than a memorial service, Kevin’s family is holding a celebration of his life as per his wishes. Keep on Smilin’.
