Marie Hebert Arcement passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the age of 84. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way throughout her life. She was the cherished wife of the late Rene Joseph Arcement III. Loving step-mother of Gaynel Baham, Pamela Wright and Julie Kinler. Proud grandmother of Tabitha Landry (David), Amanda Daigle (Dustan), Lindsey & Shelby Baham, Harold III, Kevin, Matthew & Makayla Wright, Edward Jr., Katie and Brandon Kinler. Great grandmother of David Jr., Kynlee and Ellie Landry, Daegan, Adley and Asher Daigle, Landon McGinnis, Preston, Kaylee, Karson, Hunni and Kevin Jr. Wright. Aunt of Kathleen Hebert. Sister of Malcolm Hebert. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many cousins, relatives and dear friends. Marie was born in Morgan City, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish before settling in Osyka, MS. She found pleasure in the details of everyday life and caring deeply for others. She was well loved and affectionately known for her good nature and generous heart. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends attended a visitation held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, followed by a Funeral Mass in Marie’s memory beginning afterward.
