Francine Foreman passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the age of 78. She was the beloved daughter of Cameron and Bessie Coker Foreman. Sister of Jonas Foreman and the late Juanita Martin, Esther Neidermeier, Joyce Muhoberac and James Foreman. Proud aunt of Janet Neidermeier, Jimmy Martin, Nora Dennis, Donna Boyett, Phil Martin, Mike Muhoberac, Brenda Foreman, Ron Foreman, Keith Foreman and the late Cam Foreman and Cindy Muhoberac. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many great nieces & nephews and great great nieces & nephews. Francine graduated from Newcomb College in 1961 with a bachelor degree in Math. Then she began her career as a computer programmer for IBM until 1976. Her assignments included working on the Apollo Program. She went on to work for Entergy New Orleans in 1976, where she retired after many years of service. Francine was very generous, donating to many charities and volunteering at the Public Library in Chalmette, LA. She was an avid reader and she enjoyed politics and computer science. Francine also had a passion for the arts, she loved art museums and the opera. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends. Relatives and friends were invited to attend a visitation held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, May 26, 2016.
