Carol Lee Riffle Sager passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on July 12, 2018 in Chalmette, LA, after her battle with Cancer at the age of 56. Born on February 15, 1962 in New Orleans, LA, she was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish, a treasured and trusting Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Niece, Cousin, and friend to so many. Carol is survived by her husband, Dean (1984); children, Joshua (Jessica), Derrick, Justin; siblings, Hope Lee Riffle Davis; Mother-in-law of Katey James Sager; MiMi of Presley & Parker Sager, Aunt Lee-Lee to Xander Davis; She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and countless friends. Her mother, Theresa Latapie Riffle DeNoux of St. Bernard Parish, her father-in-law Donald Loren Sager of Waveland, MS, and brother-in-law Douglas Lawson Sager of Wellington, FL preceded Carol in death. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, July 21 2018 at 12 p.m. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA. A reception to follow at the Sager’s Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carol’s life.
