Althea “Meme” Combel Doescher, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Albert Herman Doescher, Jr. Mother of Denise Berel (Romy) and Donna Sans (Donald). Also survived by five grandchildren, Romy Berel IV (Ashley), Brandon Berel (Kimberly), Todd Berel, Douglas Sans (Dem), Jeffrey Sans (Rachel), seven great grandchildren, Ricki, Romy V, Reese, Owen, Preston, Kacey and Emma. A native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of St. Bernard. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family attended the visitation and Memorial Services at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West (in Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell, LA., on Wednesday, August 8, 2018.
