Chris Delta Jeansonne Sr. passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the age of 54. He was the beloved husband of Ethel Assavedo Jeansonne for 35 years. Henry “Teta” Martinez Sr. gained his wings on Monday, July 4, 2016 at the age of 79. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that he had touched in some way throughout his life. He was the son of the late Joseph Martinez and Lillian Martinez Borden. Brother of the late Emmett Nunez and Glinda Kieff. Beloved husband of 43 years to Mona Lisa Martinez. Loving father of Timothy Martinez Sr. (Sharon), Zane Bryant Sr. (Mary), Sharon Taylor, Sharlene Taylor, Henry Martinez Jr. (Lori) and the late Anthony Martinez Sr. (Diane). He is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren and dear friends. Henry was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish where he enjoyed a long career as a commercial fisherman.
