Catherine Clara Bradbury Perkins passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at St. Margaret Daughters Nursing Home in New Orleans, LA at the age of 88. Beloved mother of Gary J. Perkins and wife Karen Anweiler Perkins and the late John A. Perkins. Daughter of the late Newman and Rosiana Bradbury. Grandmother of Matthew R. Perkins and wife Bridget, Christina M. Perkins, KateLynn J. Perkins-Abadie and husband Bryan, and Ryan A. Perkins. Great grandmother of Jaiden Gamez, Lucien Gamez, Julicia Gamez, Milena Perkins, Julienne Guerrero, and Riley Noto. Also survived by her sister of Louise Bartholomew and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Clara was a retired Meat Wrapper for LA Frey Meat Packers of New Orleans. Relatives and friends of the family attended the funeral services at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 1 p.m. Visitation was from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Interment followed in St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
