Armand Raymond Creighton, of Brookhaven, MS; passed from life on March 8, 2019, at his care-givers home at the age of 88. He was born on December 13, 1930 to John L. Creighton and Holda Darkemeyer Creighton. Mr. Creighton was a packing room supervisor with L.A. Frey & Sons. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Brookhaven and he enjoyed doing yard work and woodworking. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Frances Mary Randazzo Creighton; brother, John H. Creighton; and sister, Ara Lee. Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Carol Boden of Chalmette, LA; his special friends and care-givers, William and Nancy Moore of Brookhaven, MS; and nieces and nephews. Services for Mr. Armand Raymond Creighton will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 1 p.m. at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Autumn Lee Danna passed away on March 1, 2019, at the age of 33. She was the beloved daughter of Kirby and Suzanne Danna; sister of Amber Julien and Ashleigh White; granddaughter of John and Judy Perez, and aunt of Stephanie White. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Gloria Danna. Autumn never met a stranger. She always had a smile, a hug, or a wave from her trike to friends and strangers alike, as she rode through the neighborhood. In her short time on this earth, Autumn touched the lives of everyone she knew with her inner light – a light that is gone too soon from this world. Jimmie H. Holmes passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Patricia Vitley Holmes for 20 years. Loving father of Jimmie G. Holmes (Thu), Penny L. Holden. Lewis V. Holmes (Janel), Melody A. McFatrich (Jerry) and Dorie Holmes. Stepfather of Ronald Ecklund (Marie), Catherine Ecklund and Donald Ecklund (Baretta). Son of the late James Marvin Holmes and Wanda Mary Boyles. Brother of Wanzie Taylor (Glen), James Holmes (Carliss), Janice Schuff (Charles), Timothy M. Holmes (Lynn) and the late Fred Holmes, Louis Holmes and Darian L. Holmes (Anita). Stepbrother of Jerry Ross (Debra) and Robin Yawn. Proud grandfather of Si, Max, My-anh, My-lin, Christopher, Joshua, Ronald, Miranda, Zachary, Kaylee, James, Kayla, Jeffrey, Melissa and Jerry Jr. Step grandfather of Ronnie, Victoria, Valerie, Century, Jessica, Donald, Savannah, Austin, Ashlyn, Kayla and Caitlyn. Also survived and fondly remembered by 14 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Jimmie was born on October 16, 1946 in Tylertown, MS, and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. He retired as Captain from EBI Cranes after over 40 years of dedicated service. Jimmie loved being on the water and he had a passion for fishing. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his family, friends and all of those whose lives he touched. Arthur Lee “Tee” Lafrance, Sr., passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019, in St. Bernard Parish, LA, at the age of 85. He was born in New Orleans, LA, on August 5, 1933, to Edna and Albert Curt Lafrance, Sr., and raised in Plaquemines. He married Lorraine “Titta” Acosta; and they made their home in Braithwaite, Plaquemines Parish, where they raised their family. Tee was preceded in death by his parents and wife and is survived by his children: Lee Lafrance (Sharon), Lori Meyers (Dwayne), Michael Lafrance, and Michele Lafrance (Kim Alfonso); grandchildren, Brittany Kestler (Desi D. Romano), Brett Lafrance (Crystalyn), Elaine Meyers, Stephanie Lafrance, and Celina Lafrance-Melerine; great-grandchild, Sidney Romano; siblings, Faye Erwin (the late John), Albert Lafrance, Jr. (Trudy), Lanny Lafrance (Jean), Patsy Pannagl, Linda Fernandez (the late Ronnie); brother-in-law, Herman Acosta (Gloria), and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Tee was a proud United States Army Veteran; the discipline and patriotism he learned in the Army never left him. He was skilled in all aspects of construction and worked and retired from Plaquemines Parish Government after many years of dedicated service. He co-owned Lafrance Oyster Growers, Inc. He was a kind, caring, and devoted father, grandfather, and friend who was blessed to have a large and loving extended family. His greatest pleasure was spending time with family and friends and lending a helping hand to others; he gave of himself freely and generously. He spearheaded the rebuilding of numerous homes after Hurricanes Katrina and Isaac. He enjoyed working on his boats, tinkering in his machine shop, duck hunting, and sports. He will be forever remembered for his love of people and pets, his sense of humor and quick wit, and for enjoying a nice puff of cigar. His family is grateful for the caregivers, friends, and family who provided him with comfort during his last days. Patrick Joseph Norwood entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the age of

50. He was born March 18, 1968; preceded in death by his father Jack Norwood, Brother Melvin Lastie Jr., grandparents Cassie and Louis Norwood, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Florastine Norwood, His wife Yolanda Norwood. A devoted friend Lacie Spiers. He is also survived by six children, Jonathan, (Cali), Christiane, Arrianne, Mekhi, Akhiaya and Heaven Norwood. Six siblings Adoria Lastie-Joiner, Patrice Norwood- Lucas (Patrick’s twin), Stan, Trudy, Anthony, Darrell, Brian, Linda, Gayle and Brenda Norwood. One stepson D’ Marrio Kendrick. Patrick was a graduate of Eleanor McMain High School. He was also a former employee of La Louisiane Restaurant, a former a Longshoreman Crane operator of 13 years, and a maintenance supervisor with HANO Development. At the time of Death, he was employed at Chalmette Refinery, the former Exxon. Relatives and friends of the family, also, staff and employees of Mercy Endeavors Senior Citizens Center, and Brand and Turner Scaffolding Company attended the Visitation and Funeral Service at Majestic Mortuary Service Inc., 1833 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70113 on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Jean Heier Perez departed our world March 6, 2019 at the age of 83. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Clyde Perez; her daughter Sabrina Brown (Curtis); her granddaughter Katherine Tommaseo (Rocky); and her beloved great grandson Nicco Tommaseo; her siblings Brenda Smith (Earl), Henry Heier (Tootie), and Wayne Heier (Margaret); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Preceding Jean in death are her parents Henry Heier and Helen Rudesill Heier; and her sister Darlene McCullough. Before she was a resident of Our Lady of Wisdom Healthcare Center, where she was visited daily by her devoted husband; Jean was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish and parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church. She found pleasure in the details of everyday life and enjoyed casino trips and sightseeing. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched. Proud grandfather of Wayne Gray, Sr. (Michelle), Donna Calato (Michael), Andrew Cappo, III and the late Christopher Gray. Great grandfather of Wayne Gray, Jr., Brandi Russell (Farrest), Austin Gray, Darius Tortorich (Paige), Lindsey Caples (Danny) and Hunter Tortorich. Great great grandfather of Lucas Tortorich and Tanner Caples. Godfather of Gayle Nobles and Karen Robin. Also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. He spent his life on the water as a commercial fisherman and after retirement enjoyed sports fishing & trapping. He was a gifted duck carver and always enjoyed gambling especially on horses. Our son, Kody Allen Duhon went to be with his heavenly father, and reunited with his grandparents, Lena and Peter Rodrigue, and Dua and Corinne Duhon, his Uncle Angelo, his Uncle Don, and his baby cousin Sarah, on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the age of 34. He is the loving and devoted father of Kamryn, age 8. Beloved son of Bernadette and Bruce Isbell, and Susie and Kenneth Duhon. He is the brother of Kenneth Duhon, II (Trista), Andrea Benoit (Brooks), David Isbell (Katy), and Jenna Kliebert (Lance). Uncle of Kenzie and Kate Duhon, Austin Roberts, Aidan and Caroline Benoit, Klaira Grace and Averi Isbell, and Mia Kliebert. He also leaves behind many friends who were like brothers, and many other relatives, associates and acquaintances. Charles Joseph Klopf Jr. passed away on March 13, 2019 with brain cancer at his residence in Hammond, LA, at the age of

68. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Joseph Klopf, Sr. and Julia Jeneva Oulliber Klopf. He is survived by his children: Elizabeth Klopf (Jules Chatelain), Jessica Eiermann (Brian), Robert Loria (Nicole) and Kathy St. Charles. Grandchildren: Grayce Mores, Navan and Saoirse Eiermann. His sisters: Anne Klopf Garner (Tracy) and Eugenie Klopf Cronan (Herman). He was born in New Orleans on July 15, 1950. A graduate of Holy Cross High School, he went on to attain a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of New Orleans and a Masters in Guidance and Counseling. He served in the Air National Guard at Belle Chasse, LA. After his military services, he worked for several years as a school teacher in Orleans Parish. He later began his career with the Louisiana Probation and Parole Department, and served for 32 years. He retired as District Administrator of the St. Bernard and Plaquemines Parishes District. His joys after retiring were reading, gardening and spending time with his family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in honor of Mr. Charles. Marie Louise Scioneaux entered life on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 4:00pm at Chateau du Notre Dame, New Orleans at the age of 96. Daughter of the late Gracie Ruiz Scioneaux and the late Edward J. Scioneaux – she was born in St. James, LA. She was a resident of Chalmette and Alexandria, LA. Her sisters were the late Eloise S. Lacour (Burnett) and the late Rita Scioneaux. She was the aunt of Sr. Ann Lacour, MSC, James E. Lacour (Michael) and Paul J. Lacour (Tish). She is also survived by her grandnephew, Marcel P. Lacour (Vanessa) and grandniece, Dr. MiMi L. Williams (Daniel). She smiled as Abby Lacour, Malachi Paul Lacour and Lettie Eloise Williams were welcomed into the family. The family wishes to thank the many people who have journeyed with us especially our brother, Jim. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some small way throughout her very memorable life. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Birdie Pitre. She was the cherished wife of the late Theodore St. Amant Jr. Loving mother of Stephanie Evans (Robert), Gary St. Amant, Suzanne Killeen (Dennis), Saja St. Amant, Teddy St. Amant (Marlene) and Sherrie Cox (Kevin). Sister of Billy Pitre (Audrey), Ralph Pitre (Linda) and the late Joycelyn Pitre White. Proud grandmother of Sabrina, Robin, Sheena, Jeff, Jen, Aleck, Andrew, Nick, Kerri, Marilyn, Sara, Teddy, Melissa, Kevin, Chris and Brandon. Great grandmother of Hana, Ethan, Emma, Evan, Sophia, Jeff, Jacob, Scarlett, Jax, Tara, Tristan, Damon, Adriana, Eleana, Quinn, Avia, Arya, Rylee, Madison, Remington, Roland and the late Colin. In her younger years, she enjoyed square dancing, was active with the Carolyn Park Boosters and after many loyal years of being “Master of All” she retired from Kmart. She will always be remembered for her dedication to her family, her loving spirit, her laughter, and spoiling the grandchildren. Paul Thomas Trapani, of Poplarville, MS; passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 in the Pearl River County Hospital, Poplarville, surrounded by his family at the age of 64. Paul was born July 27, 1954 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Paul and Doris Fedel Trapani. He was a draftsman with Mississippi Tank Company and enjoyed painting war game figurines; researching history; and canvas and mural painting. Among his accomplishments, he was commissioned to create artwork for several restaurants in the New Orleans and Chalmette area. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, gardening, and making people around him laugh. Paul will be sorely missed. He is preceded in death by his father. Left to cherish Paul’s memories are his wife of 45 years, Elaine Molero Trapani; his daughter, Kacie Lynn Trapani (Robert Hurst); his mother, Doris Fedel Trapani; one sister, Bonnie Sue Lee; two nephews, Tommy Caughey, Nate Lee; a host of extended family and friends; and his neighbor, Kevin Hart. Virginia Serigne Wilkes, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Dennis John Wilkes. Mother of Claude Dennis Wilkes (the late Connie Eiermann Wilkes and the late Brenda Wilkes), David John Wilkes (Robin Boone Wilkes), Jeffrey Wilkes and the late Iris Lynn Wilkes Babin Landry and Debra Ann Wilkes. Daughter of the late Anthony Serigne and Josephine Campo Serigne. Sister of Gert Shaw, Fern Hoffman (Joe) and the late Sidney Serigne, Ralph Serigne, Anthony Serigne, Melvina Serigne Thompson and Ethel Serigne Belso. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wilkes was a retired school bus owner and operator for Jefferson Parish. Relatives and friends attended the graveside service at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery, 2805 Bayou Road, St. Bernard, LA on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. James Joseph Gaudet passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the age of 75. James was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish, and most recently celebrated life in St. Tammany Parish. He was the beloved husband of Karen Riedl Gaudet for 55 years. Son of the late Felix and Anna Gaudet. Father of Michelle Johnson (Don) and Cherie Plunkett (Tim). Grandfather of Colin, Shelby and Brooke Story; Nicole and Megan Plunkett; Catherine, Emily and Caroline Johnson. Brother of the late Lt. Col. Kathleen A. Gaudet, Ret. Brother-inlaw of Candy Lowe (Claude), Eddie Riedl (Joyce) and Greg Riedl (Julie). He is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Special thanks to his caregivers Sonya Badon and Catrice Cowart. Jimmy spent many years in the banking industry and later as a financial advisor. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was especially proud of his Irish heritage. Relatives and friends of the family attended the visitation and Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Greenwood Funeral Home 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124.
